Our Mission
Our mission is to cultivate gratitude, kindness, and resilience in the next generation by helping students build daily habits that train the mind to see the good.
Through A Simple Seed journal, we’re planting seeds of confidence, compassion, and purpose that will grow goodness for a lifetime.
The Question That Changed Everything
“Can you teach us how to have magical mornings?”
My 6 year old daughter whispered this one morning in the middle of my routine, and chills went down my back. I had been doing a morning routine for years, and I could see the difference it made in my life. I had learned that how you start the day often sets the tone for how you end it. Reading something positive, practicing gratitude, prayer or meditation, positive self-talk, and intentionally spreading kindness can truly shift everything.
After searching the internet for two hours for a journal that included growth mindset, positive self-talk, gratitude, a joke, and kindness, I came up short. In that moment, I realized I needed to create this book.
What started as a family project has grown into a best-selling book on Amazon, a nationally recognized movement featured on the TODAY Show, and a partnership with Clarkson Potter Publishing.
Our goal is to impact 1,000,000 kids, helping them discover their power, self-worth, and potential in this world.

The Growing Goodness Project is a movement to help the next generation discover what matters most:
Kindness. Gratitude. Service. Positive Self-Talk.
We partner with schools to help students and teachers begin each day with the right mindset, something students need now more than ever, as mental health challenges continue to rise.
By building positive habits at a young age, A Simple Seed helps rewire the brain to see the good in themselves and in the world. These lessons don’t just shape days, they shape lives.
To date, we've impacted over 40,000 students. Our goal: 1,000,000 lives touched.
Because when we plant the right seeds early, we grow a brighter future for all.
